Black History Night Assembly

blackhistory We were honored to have the opportunity to present our first Black History Night Assembly and bring our students and their families together to celebrate the milestones and achievements of African American people throughout this nation’s history.  It is, and will always be, our mission at GOCA to deliver a first class academic program that offers a unique foreign language and multicultural curriculum to our students and their families.

End of year carnival

A big thank you to GOCA's teachers, staff and PTA. This fun filled carnival would not have been a success without your involvement.  Because of your support and contribution of time we were able to create a family fun day for our students and our community.

 Teacher of the Year

Harper Nicole000

I believe that every child is a unique individual and deserves the opportunity to grow and mature in an environment built around a variety of learning techniques. It is my goal as an educator to provide children with a quality education, while allowing them an opportunity to help guide and take ownership of their educational journey. This is demonstrated each day through my small group instruction, and one on one interventions. Through data, I have been able to narrow my focus when working with a student or group of students, to meet those particular needs. For example, I have found that some students thrive when using hands on task, and others through routine and repetition. This is also an opportunity to find individual interest, thus being able to choose learning materials and activities that cater to each student.
