Principal's Message

Greetings!

As the principal of Global Outreach Charter Academy, it is my responsibility to ensure that we stay true to our mission to deliver a first-class academic program that offers a unique bilingual and bi-cultural curriculum, while preparing students to have an edge in global competition.

My seventeen years in education--sixteen years with Duval County Public Schools--have afforded me the opportunity to be an educational advocate for all stakeholders involved in the development of student academic achievement. This position includes guiding teachers to implement best practices to engage students in active learning and a rigorous curriculum via differentiated instruction, Common Core and Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. Foundations and CHAMPS are provided to maintain a safe and civil school. GOCA has created a positive school and family environment.

By collectively and collaboratively working together, we increased student achievement, which resulted in our school grade improving from a C to a B.

Students will obtain a sound educational foundation at GOCA, which will allow them to matriculate on to high school and college with the necessary skills to be successful and productive citizens.

Global Outreach Charter Academy is On Track for an A with our AAA Plan-Attitude, Action and Achievement.
